Chernarus
Chernarus is the original and most iconic map in DayZ. It covers approximately 225 square kilometers, and its topography is highly varied. The map features rolling hills, dense forests, open fields, and a long eastern coastline along the sea. Inland, you can encounter mountain ranges, rivers, and valleys. The landscape of Chernarus also includes a lot of large urban areas, numerous villages, and military installations. Its mix of elevation, vegetation, and human-made structures creates a realistic and interesting world to explore.
